Program Overview

The Certificate Program in Eating Disorders Treatment at the Colorado School for Family Therapy prepares LMFTs, LPCs and other mental health and fitness professionals to serve clients dealing with eating, weight and body image concerns.  Students will learn advanced theory and practice of the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of eating disorders and sub-clinical disordered eating pathology. 

Five (5) classes are required for the certificate:

Eating Disorders Treatment: Nutrition and Weight Control 

Eating Disorders Treatment: Medical and Physiological Issues

Eating Disorders Treatment: Practicum
